Five Minutes with Townsend Bell

Townsend Bell is a busy man these days.  He has a full time ride in a GTD Ferrari 458 in the Tudor Championship Series, where he already has wins this year at Daytona and Sebring.  He’s also returned to the Indy 500 this year, where he had a solid run going but crashed just eight laps from the checkered flag.  A tough end to an otherwise promising weekend, but we suspect Townsend will return next year to exercise this years late race demons.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was where we caught up with Townsend to talk with him briefly about his efforts in the Tudor Championship Series.

I've been around some form of racing since I was a kid. First hanging around Ascot in Southern California. Then, after moving to Texas as a teen, I got hooked on drag racing and did that for almost fifteen years.
