Long before his historic freefall to earth from the Red Bull Stratos, Felix Baumgartner has been breaking records (and laws) for BASE jumps and skydiving all around the world. After watching this 2012 video showing some of the Austrian’s exploits it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t just the best choice for the Stratos jump. He was the only choice.
