I went to one of the local Saturday morning Cars & Coffee held at Fuel Coffee in Cincinnati, adequately named for more than one reason. The very small parking area at Fuel, gets completely packed with cars and motorcycles of all kinds every Saturday morning in the spring and summer. It is a place where you can casually go with or without your “cool” car or motorcycle and meet friends and make new ones and grab a delicious coffee beverage, if you can wait out the long line that is.
At this regularly occurring meeting place you may find exotic Lamborghinis and Ferraris, vintage and classic cars, café racer style motorcycles, unusual rat rods of all sorts, street tuned modern and classic imports, and everything in-between.
On this day, it happened to be the same day as the 3rd Annual Queen City Mods & Rockers Rally. Many café racer bikes and their colorful scene was present at Fuel. A big group met there prior to the rally held a little later that morning in downtown Cincinnati. I followed several to the rally where I had the opportunity to experience more of the café racer scene and document the event with some photographs.
This was a unique experience for me as I am more used to the Harley Davidson and cruiser scene while riding in big fundraising events and church group rides. This was different, it was an event where eclectic individuals with eclectic taste in motorcycles had the opportunity to come together in a rally and ride together in an organized fashion. I hope that I can participate in riding together next year.
