My Life at Speed was quick to accept an opportunity to attend the AMA GEICO Endurocross event held up in Everett. We are still filtering through photos and video, but as a special favor to Lee Callahan at KZOK radio station in Seattle, WA we got this gallery up quickly.
The Foot Race was crazy – this group of guys ran the perimeter of the Endurocross race course, with ProTaper handlebars in hand. Those guys acted like there was an X Games win at the end of all of it. Flat out, around the course they went, jumping logs, going through mud bogs, getting through the majority of the massive course – well, until the last rock pile. DOWN, DOWN, AND DOWN they went! Like bowling pins they proved that even on foot, this course was hard to handle. Thank goodness for the ProTaper bars or I am sure there would have been more carnage.
The guys proved to be great sports and even with true to form face plants, they still went for it! With the final prizes sealed in envelopes, the crowd roared at the show these guys put on!
Thanks to KZOK radio and Lee Callahan for your support of the event – hope you like the photos. If you want to get any reprints of photos, please contact us and we will put you in touch with Kyle Lewis, My Life at Speed blogger and photographer.
And to all of you Endurocross fans out there, we promise more to come! Just a fantastic event!!
