Valentino Rossi almost claimed his first win for the 2014 season but Spain’s Marc Marquez proved to be relentless and won the day. Another Spaniard, Alvaro Bautista, claimed the third podium spot after a thrilling day of racing in the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France at Le Mans.
