Going into the bwin Czech Republic MotoGP in Brno, smart money would have been on Marc Marquez. After all the twenty-one year old Spaniard had one heck of a winning streak and only needed one more victory to set a new record, but teammate and fellow countryman, Dani Pedrosa was having none of it. Pedrosa won the race, sharing the podium with Movistar Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Marquez finished fourth.
