Layne Schranz Practice Middle Section – Almost Takes Out A Photographer

We talked to Layne Schranz at Fan Fest and he told us that we have to check out his onboard (err…actually outboard) camera footage of a great example of how NOT to shoot motorsports. We agree. Check out this video – awesome footage as Layne powers up the mountain. All footage shot with CONTOUR cameras.  Thanks Layne for continuing to support My Life at Speed – the decal looks great. 🙂

Day 2 of practice in the middle section of the mountain. Finished the day with the quickest time of 2:41.45. Near the end of the video, around a blind corner some photographers almost got wiped out.

My Life at Speed Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Chris Nazarenus, had a chance meeting with key executives at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1998. It would be the "Jerry McGuire" moment that would change her life forever. Although she knew nothing about motorsports at that time, the chance meeting would influence her passion for all things fast, great stories and interesting people. That's what you will find here at My Life at Speed. Visit Site →
