2012 was a landmark year for the Global Rallycross Championship (GRC). What they didn’t gain with respectability, they certainly made up for with notoriety. Despite the innovation of making temporary rallycross circuits in NASCAR and IndyCar speedways, there was great controversy over the large metal gap-jump. Debate over the behemoth raged on both sides of the pond, as ERC24.com extended their European Rallycross Championship coverage to include the US series. They had their finger on the pulse of the GRC and even broke stories via their Facebook page long before ‘mainstream’ media.

The ERC, GRC and ERX rallycross seasons don’t start until April 2013; but in the meantime, the goodly gentlemen at ERC24.com created a poll for fans to sound off on which GRC Driver had the best story last year. That’s right, this isn’t about who had the best times or most wins. They want to know which driver had the most interesting, inspiring, triumphant or tragic journey during the season. Who do you think left if all on the track: heart, soul, mind and body? Voting closes on February 28, 2013 at midnight (CET). Fans can only one vote once per IP for a 24 hour period so let’s get cracking, people! Go to GRC Action of the Year 2012 to read Jakub ‘Qba’ Nitka’s recap of each driver’s story and cast your vote.
