What started out as a cold and rainy day in Washington lead to more cold and rain, but that didn’t stop 2500+ cars from arriving at Pacific Raceways. The final tally was 4,840 Toys donated to Marine Toys for Tots, and $6,980.70 in cash and check. This year offered up a bunch of raffle items from various local companies and businesses including Pacific Raceways raising donations by offering track time at the event, the O’Brian Auto Group. Fiat of Seattle even held a competition to see how many people could fit in a Fiat. The winning club received $250 and donated $250 to Toys for Tots.
There was a wide array of car clubs from Hondas, Nissans, Acuras, Volkswagen, Mazdas, Ford, Chevys, and as always a large showing from the Puget Sound Toyota Owners Club. Even with the rain it was still exciting to see a few exotics, a Ferrari, Aston Martin and a Noble were seen in the mix.
The record setting number for People fitting in a Fiat was 17 with the doors closed!
