Monster Meets Model S

Does Monster Tajima have something in the works with an American car company?  With the attitude displayed by Monster, it seems a definite possibility.   After the disappointment Monster and his team experienced at Pikes Peak, it’s heartwarming to see the Legend of Pikes Peak smile.  At times Monster has even hinted at doing a Gymkhana type video somewhere in the U.S.  I won’t make any conclusions but who wouldn’t want to see Monster doing a Gymkhana video?  In a Tesla??  Only time will tell.  – Colin Brandt

After achieving a record nine career wins at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, renowned racer Nobuhiro ‘Monster’ Tajima gets behind the wheel of Model S for a test drive through the hills of Fremont, CA. Speaking briefly of his history in motor sports and why he is such a proponent of EV technology, Monster gives his impression of Model S and his desire to see Tesla succeed.

I am an overall gearhead, rallyfan, and automotive enthusiast. In my mind the PPIHC is America's last great automotive event, and stage rally is closer to Nascar's roots than Nascar is to Nascar's roots. In other words, I will not be posting anything remotely related to going around in circles. Real men...and women drive sideways, and jump through dirt, tarmac, snow, wind and rain. ;) Oh and one last thing, "IF IN DOUBT, FLAT OUT!!" -Colin Mcrae
