[The 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is approaching fast. Teams all across the globe are either finishing up cars, testing them, or shipping them to the United States. One team who is going through the final testing phase is Monster Tajima’s. Team APEV has just finished up the brand new E-Runner electric car, and is looking to be the fastest electric car on the hill.
There is no telling how fast these electric cars from both Tajima and Mitsubishi will be, but the overall record may be held by an electric car sooner than we think. Check out the video below of Team APEV working their magic on the E-Runner from start to finish.
I am an overall gearhead, rallyfan, and automotive enthusiast. In my mind the PPIHC is America's last great automotive event, and stage rally is closer to Nascar's roots than Nascar is to Nascar's roots. In other words, I will not be posting anything remotely related to going around in circles. Real men...and women drive sideways, and jump through dirt, tarmac, snow, wind and rain. ;) Oh and one last thing, "IF IN DOUBT, FLAT OUT!!" -Colin Mcrae
