Innovation has always been part of automotive technology and Halfords have put together this innovative infographic which gives a visual representation of the evolution of car technology throughout the last 120 years.

It is interesting to realize that in just over a century, technology developments have replaced horse powered carriages with ultra sophisticated cars responding to voice commands and driven by an on-board computer. Amazing!

So what’s in store for future cars? Well, we don’t know for sure, but based on what’s currently being tested and what’s on the road today, we have an idea of some new technology that will most likely make it into production.
