Recent high temps and sun gave way to typical Pacific Northwest weather Friday for the 5th round of the Formula Drift Championship. Mid day rain meant slick conditions for the first round of qualifying, and teams scrambled to change their setups to accommodate the tricky conditions. Then, late in the first round and for the entire second round, conditions were made much more predictable with the absence of rain and much dryer track conditions. A few slick spots were all that was left of the afternoon showers by the time qualifying was completed.
