My Life at Speed

If you missed the 2013 WRC Monte Carlo on the Speed Channel here is the entire show for your enjoyment. The return of the WRC to the famed rally displayed how exciting the World Rally Championship really can be. With the all-new Volkswagen WRC team, a young, revamped Qatar-Msport, and a re branded Citroen team, the 2013 World Rally Championship will not disappoint. Meanwhile, Hyundai is preparing a full factory backed squad to take on the 2014 championship.

Stages were extremely treacherous and even WRC veterans struggled to stay on the road. The action that unfolded should keep fans glued to see what will happen next in the cold, snowy land of Sweden.

I am an overall gearhead, rallyfan, and automotive enthusiast. In my mind the PPIHC is America's last great automotive event, and stage rally is closer to Nascar's roots than Nascar is to Nascar's roots. In other words, I will not be posting anything remotely related to going around in circles. Real men...and women drive sideways, and jump through dirt, tarmac, snow, wind and rain. ;) Oh and one last thing, "IF IN DOUBT, FLAT OUT!!" -Colin Mcrae
