After a crash that nearly totaled our Freightliner race truck here at Pikes Peak last year during qualifying, the Mike Ryan Motorsports Team is back and our Freightliner race truck is better than ever.

Wednesday’s practice went well, but we weren’t getting the power we were accustomed. Same situation on Thursday, so the crew switched out our experimental VGT Turbo and problem solved, the truck is turning in record segment times and we are now ready for Sunday’s race.

Check out www.ppihc.com for info from Pikes Peak.

Racers always promote their sponsors and crew and I’m no different, but this time it is more real than ever, due to their willingness to support the nearly 9-month reconstruction of the truck. Please consider their products and services and thank them for what they do for us!

My Life at Speed Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Chris Nazarenus, had a chance meeting with key executives at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1998. It would be the "Jerry McGuire" moment that would change her life forever. Although she knew nothing about motorsports at that time, the chance meeting would influence her passion for all things fast, great stories and interesting people. That's what you will find here at My Life at Speed.
