On this week’s Top Gear USA, they make the pilgrimage to Pikes Peak in Colorado. This makes us chuckle because our team is still recovering from our own trek to “America’s Mountain” for the annual hill climb. Still the History Channel audience should get some idea as to why we love that place so much, when Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood discern which family vehicle still allows Dad to keep his man card. All we have to say is respect the mountain, guys.
Is it possible to have a family vehicle without giving up your high horsepower dreams? Tanner, Adam and Rutledge each choose a brand new car and push them to their speed and maneuverability limits to find out which is the best family friendly super car. In the end, the guys take their vehicles to the edge in a race up the legendary Pikes Peak. – BBC Worldwide
