One last practice session this morning before Qualifying took place late this afternoon. Not everyone had an easy time of it this morning, as evidenced by the enormous cloud of dirt raised by the No. 33 Riley Motorsports SRT Viper GT3-R. A handful of others also managed the occasional dirt drop, but with much less spectacular results.
Conditions here at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca couldn’t have been much better today. A light breeze off the bay did it’s part to keep the fans relatively cool, but the bright sunshine would mean high cockpit temps for the drivers.
