World of Action Sports Pikes Peak

Experience the 2011 Pikes Peak Hill Climb from the racers’ perspective, as they charge this legendary peak in hand-built, tube-framed race cars.  This year’s climb would be a historic one as the last section of gravel would be paved for next year, opening new classes of vehicles and changing finish times.

Hyundai had a fantastic year, with Rod Millen reclaiming the 2WD Time Attack World Record in the RMR Genesis Coupe with a time of 11:04, 29 seconds faster than previous held record.  Great action from Rhys Millen and his Hyundai powered car.
