Road Race-T: 1927 LeMons Racer
It’s got a 5.0L engine out of an old Ford Mustang, the front end off a Pinto and a frame that’s almost 100 years old. The Road Race T is the creation of Dennis Newman and Dave Schaible and was constructed to compete in the 24 Hours of LeMons, a 24 hour endurance race where the original purchase price of the car can be no more than $500.00. It’s small, light and thanks to its amazingly talented builders, has the ability to put the hurt on the majority of its competition.
