Renault Twizy Flashmob at the Eiffel Tower

So many of us have been amazed by the routines of a “flash mob” over the past few years, but as with most things unique when it is done too much, well, it gets a bit predictable. A new term coined in 2003, a flashmob is defined as:  a group of people who assemble suddenly in a place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression.

This flash mob – a Flashmob at the Eiffel Tower – caught my attention, because it was done with Renault Twizy’s, creative and clever for sure!  The use of simply plugging into the Eiffel Tower, proves that you can power up anywhere.

The Twizy is the first-ever fully electric urban compact two-seater. Twizy combines bold design, bright styling while being incredibly fun to drive too.

Renault Twizy’s carefully honed weight – 450kg, including batteries (100kg) – is directly beneficial to its range which stands at 100km (combined cycle). Its battery is also particularly easy to charge thanks to an extendable spiral cable stored beneath a flap at the front of the vehicle.

Thanks to an integrated charger, this cable is also compatible with roadside battery charging facilities. An adapter permits this cable to be plugged into any 220V 10A household electrical supply. The battery fully charges in three-and-a-half hours.
