Red Bull Stars Trade F1 Cars for Soapbox Racers

Every once in a while you’ve got to cut loose and have a good time, just like these Infiniti Red Bull stars who got some seat time in soapbox racers.  Team Principal Christian Horner and three-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel both participated in world-famous Red Bull soapbox races.

Horner’s car for the Red Bull Soapbox Race 2013: London, was a version of the Infiniti Red Bull-Renault F1 race car, but with some soapbox touches like a huge helmet and horns on the front.

Vettel really surprised me here.  His talent is undeniable but the German record-breaker also has a very good sense of humor.  While Horner’s costume was a fire suit, Vettel portrayed a missing member of the Super Mario Bros. – Super Seb!  Even his support team at the Red Bull Soapbox Race Seifenkistenrennen 2013 in Herten, Germany wore matching outfits!  That’s what I call total commitment to the joke.

Whether you’re Team Ferrari, Team Lotus or Team Mark Webber (Ha!) this was lots of fun for all.
