(Colorado Springs, CO) – Dallenbach Racing sponsored by Famous Dave’s of Colorado Springs, Alpine Bank, BRM, and Hoosier Racing Tires participated in yesterday morning’s private test session on Pikes Peak.
The morning started out with light drizzling rain and fog, with the rain picking up the longer the team was on the mountain. Paul Dallenbach made an attempt shortly after sunrise to complete the designated course layout, however pulled off at 11 mile for safety reasons.
“We’re very glad we were able to get in good solid runs last weekend, but felt that the track conditions were unsafe for my open cockpit car to continue. I felt it was not worth it for a test session to risk it.” stated Paul shortly after returning to the pits.
Peak Week begins on June 22, 2015. Paul’s next time on the mountain will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015 for the first official practice session.
