We shot this piece of footage while shooting Joe Kopp in 2008. A short clip, shot at 60fps by my buddy Dean, shows how lucky James would be – so close to missing the fence. The kid is really good and I am pretty sure he rides with Spider Grips too. Smart rider!
Thank goodness for an Airfence. James Rispoli on Aprilia during the 2008 Springfield Mile AMA Flat Track Race. Rispoli would be battling back and forth between first and second, but would loose his motorcycle to the dirt and crash into the outside barrier between turns three and four.
