Driving Sports TV has hit a home-run in our books with this brand new video recapping race day at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for the Mitsubishi Motors MiEV Evolution II Team. Ryan Douthit and team, have effectively captured the difficult conditions that our drivers, Hiroshi Masuoka and Greg Tracy faced.
It was a tough day for them, as horrible weather made the mountain course into treacherous one. Despite posting incredible times during practice and qualifying, the wet roads forced GT and Masuoka-san to slow down. We’re glad that they made it to the summit safely and secured not one, but two podium places behind Nobuhiro ‘Monster’ Tajima.
