Mike Ryan’s European Truck Adventure

Bonjour, Buenos Dias, Hey!

While in Europe shooting for Fast & Furious 6, I had the opportunity to test drive the Volvo hybrid race truck at LeMans France, while there for the European & French Truck Racing Series finals. I was also interviewed by French TV and during the race. All the racers in Europe know about Pikes Peak and our “Size Matters” video and they are envious that we have more power, less weight and an un-governed top speed. We arguably have the fastest road racing truck in the world. Thanks to Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, Michelin, ZF and the rest of our sponsors and crew.

I am working closely with the promoters to take a serious look at truck racing in the US, it is about time, for sure.

Back home in time for SEMA, the race truck will be there thanks to K&N Filters for the space and to Freightliner Trucks for covering the expenses.
