This battle between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi might be part of the MotoGP 2015 year in review.  In the Argentina GP’s closing laps, Spain’s reigning champion lost a clash with the Italian star and was unable to cross the finish line.

“I am convinced that there was zero intention on my part or Rossi’s to cause the accident. I have always said that Rossi is my idol, and a benchmark for us all. I have learned a lot from him over the years, and I am still learning.” – Marc Marquez, FoxSports.com (April 22, 2015)

Marquez rebounded to take second at the Spanish GP a week later but still trails Rossi by 26 points on the Championship standing.  The next race is in France on May 17, 2015.
