Lloyds British GBmoto Kawasaki’s Chris Walker was fine after this fireball in the third free practice session for the second round of the MCE British Superbike Championship this weekend at Oulton Park.
It seems that the fuel cap came off as the bike flipped over and over, showering the bike with fuel. A spark would ignite the bike…rendering a total loss.
Walker, who bounced away from the crash unhurt, attempted to pull the burning bike out of the pool of fire, before marshals with fire extinguishers were able to quench the flames.
