The 10,000-lb Bad Habit monster truck launched at 85 mph to achieve a new world record of 237-ft, 6 inches, demolishing the previous record of 214 feet, 8 inches.

The record is being verified by the Guinness World Records organization and it is hoped that it will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
