What vehicles come to mind when you think about the Baja 1000? A little Volkswagen Beetle? A giant Chevy trophy truck? A Suzuki dirtbike? How about a BMW X6?
Even though this may not be your “typical” X6, it sports a BMW 7.0L V8 and, well not much else in the way of BMW. This monster of a trophy truck features a tube frame, and carbon body making it weigh in at only 2200lbs. Former World Rally Championship driver Armin Schwarz will pilot the “X6” at the 2011 Baja 1000. Enjoy this video of the X6 being exercised in Germany earlier last month.
Premiere of the all new AGM Jimco BMW X6 V8 Trophy Truck from Armin Schwarz and All German Motorsports in October 2011 in Leipzig, Germany – for races like the Baja 1000 2011 and other SCORE US and Mexico events – See more at rallye-clip.de or marathonrally.com.
