The 1988 PPG Indy Car World Series featured many legendary cars and drivers. This is the Champion Spark Plug 300 at Laguna Seca, where Danny Sullivan won his fourth race of the season and clinched the championship. This was also the first season since the infield (Turns 3 and 4) were added to the track.
