TUDOR USCC Rattles Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

The tracks at Long Beach and Laguna Seca couldn’t be more different from each other, and that is a testament to the racing prowess of the drivers and crews of the top teams this season. BMW Team RLL’s Edwards and Luhr won GTLM in the #24 car, while teammates Auberlen and Werner, fresh off their victory in Long Beach, picked up the second place finish in the #25 car. Meanwhile in the Prototype Class, the Taylor brothers followed up their win at Long Beach with a second place finish at Laguna Seca, not even a second and a half behind the VisitFlorida.com DP of Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiante.


The race at Long Beach only has two classes, so this race saw the return of Prototype Challenge and GT Daytona to the line up. Chris Cumming and Bruno Junqueira took the #11 RSR Racing Oreca FLM09 to the top of podium, while Patrick Lindsey and Spencer Pumpelly did the same in the Park Place Porsche – the team’s first ever win.
