The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb is an important race on the My Life at Speed calendar.  Conquering “America’s Mountain” is such a huge achievement that it’s no surprise that more and more racing superstars have put it near the top of their bucket lists.  Race fans have been making that pilgrimage to Colorado to see it in person for a very long time.  Here’s a look back at the race in 1975 through this documentary film called, “Tame The Tall Mountain.” It shows the daring folks who dared to race along the dirt road up to the finish line on the summit, 14,110 ft up.
