September 21, 2012. Punta Chame, Panama – Panama will be in front of millions of NASCAR fans eyes, the sport with the second highest number of fans in the United States, on Saturday September 29, when Travis Pastrana will show off photos of his action sports hotel, Nitro City, on his car.

Pastrana, the athlete with the most medals in the history of the X-Games, is seriously committed to promoting Nitro City in Panama, the first action sports hotel in the world, highlighting the attractiveness of the project: “I am running a Nitro City Panama Action Sports Resort car for my last race of 2012, as I want to remind people that there is an endless summer in Nitro City Panama. Our sports resort in Panama is made for friends and families to play and have a good time. Just like Nascar, Nitro City is a new project of mine and I am committed to succeed with both efforts.”

Pastrana has frequently visited Panama in the last few years, filming much of the Nitro Circus 3D movie in the country, and escaping to his new playground, the Nitro City Hotel in Punta Chame, attracting international attention to the Isthmus as a tourist destination. My Life at Speed Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Chris Nazarenus, had a chance meeting with key executives at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1998. It would be the "Jerry McGuire" moment that would change her life forever. Although she knew nothing about motorsports at that time, the chance meeting would influence her passion for all things fast, great stories and interesting people. That's what you will find here at My Life at Speed.
