Launch Control 2.10 Goes Behind-The-Scenes With Subaru Rally Team USA

Subaru’s web series Launch Control is back with a mid-season restart episode that simply cannot be missed. It gives us an in-depth look at the Subaru Rally Team USA that supports cars racing in both the Rally America and Red Bull GRC series. We’re also introduced to team owner, Lance Smith, who bears responsibility for just about everything that goes right and wrong with that camp. After an excellent weekend for the team at the Red Bull GRC Seattle event where Norwegian driver, Sverre Isachsen, secured a first-time win and the team in the series, this episode is all the more poignant. We were given a glimpse into the hardworking team that not only maintains the cars but go out of their way to support the drivers. I’ve personally seen mechanics cheering on the sidelines because of the personal satisfaction they get in seeing their car and driver take the checkered flag. Although they work on different cars, they’re all still on the same team and that sense of unity is a rare commodity in any organization that goes well beyond the scope of motorsports.
