It was a soggy weekend for IndyCar racing in Toronto, Canada. Fans braved the rains to enjoy open wheel action on Saturday June 19, 2014 but although the Verizon IndyCar Series tried to put on a good show, Mother Nature was having none of it. Late in the evening, officials called it a day and postponed the double header until the next day deciding to have two races on the Sunday. There was intense racing but some shocking crashes too, like Mikhail Aleshin ending up under Juan Pablo Montoya’s car. The Canadian fans definitely got their money’s worth! Here are highlights from both races in case you missed it all.
