In Car POV of Jimmie Johnson’s Daytona 500 Win

Here’s footage of #48 Jimmie Johnson winning his second Daytona 500 from inside his stock car.  You’ll see him fend off a sudden move by #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. who took second place.  It’s his Crew Chief, Chad Knaus’ voice over the radio saying “88 is coming, 88 is coming.”  Look carefully and you’ll see part of the car’s front-end go flying, just before Jimmie tore up the grass at the start/finish line, as part of his victory celebration.

Good thing the Ford Fusion will be on display at the Daytona International Speedway until next year, because he wouldn’t be able to race with it anyway.  Congratulations, 5-time and Hendrick Motorsports.
