Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia 2014

From 1927 to 1957 an open-road endurance race called the Mille Miglia was held twenty-four times. Enzo Ferrari called it “The world’s most beautiful road race” but two fatal crashes led the race to be banned. On May 15 to 18, 2014 the fifth edition of the Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia was held. This is a regularity rally with four categories: Classic Car, 8 Cylinders, 12 Cylinders and Supercar – featuring all Ferraris built from 1958 to present day. They take the same route as the original race through historic locations like Ferrara, Riccione, Rome, Siena, Pisa and Bologna. As you might imagine, the twenty historic and forty-five contemporary models was quite a sight to behold!
