Born of a Blue Sky
Born of a Blue Sky
Classic car ownership is more difficult nowadays than ever, which is why prestigious events like the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance are a must for automotive enthusiasts. However if a trip to Florida isn’t in the cards, then videos like Born of a Blue Sky are the next best thing. Justin Lapriore and Alexander Liberman shot it on March 7-11, 2013 as a follow up to Past Glory (Gran Turismo Omologata). It’s one of those films that are not only well-made but captivating. It was also most fortuitous that the event they captured happened to be the fiftieth anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Ford GT40, Porsche 911, Corvette Stingray and Ducati motorcycles. So please sit back with a cuppa and enjoy these beautifully preserved cars and the people who don’t just own them, but use them!
