Locals call it the mil, others the 1000 but to off road racers everywhere, it’s the race.  November is time for the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 and it’s the Super Bowl and World Series of off-road racing.

Top teams have been pre-running the course for weeks, the big guns of the Million Dollar Trophy Truck teams to others, like our favorite –  $500 Craigslist car buyer and now Rally driver Bill Caswell – who just started prep on his BMW that survived 150 miles of last years 1000.  But hey, it’s on the trailer!!!

Here ya go Bill, Cameron Steele of the Desert Assassins breaks down this year’s course. – Daryl Hiers, Teamgravy Racing.

Cameron Steele takes you on an in depth tour through this year’s Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 course.

The 692.8 mile loop that makes up this year’s 1000 is full dangerous turns, high-speed roads, treacherous mountains and vehicle-destroying woops!  Cameron aims to help you tame this gnarly beast with some words of wisdom from his decades of experience.
