Guy Martin is famous in the motorcycle racing community.  He’s best known for addictions to speed, tea and a pair of sideburns that would impress Wolverine.  Jokes aside, he’s one of the most talented people on two wheels and in 2011 was named one of the top 10 Sports Personalities of the Year by talkSPORT Radio.  He’s an ambassador for the sport and despite being a fixture on the Isle of Man TT’s rider entry list, can you believe he’s never actually won the race?  That hasn’t stopped him from trying and he’ll probably keep racing regardless of that.

Martin along with a number of other riders and managers from the Tyco Suzuki British Superbike Team give candid insight into what compels them to participate in road racing.  It was good to hear from young talents like Australia’s Josh Brookes, James Hillier and Dean Harrison among others.  This documentary by German motorcycle tire and team sponsor, Metzeler, follows the group as they participated in the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix during the 2013 season.

An adventure lasted from March, with the presentation at the Ace Cafe in London, to November 2013, with the circuit of Macau, through the North West 200, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, and the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix. A journey that lasted 10 months, full of hope, workouts, great trials, disappointments and victories for the Metzeler riders. A year of racing where every time the pilot faces the asphalt and the danger with the only goal to make a single dream come true: become a legend.
