ICE can be a good thing.

Philip_2012_0212-7489

ICE…What do you think of when you hear the word ICE? Olympic Ice Skating, Ice Tea (the drink), Ice-T (the actor), Ice on a sprained ankle (ouch), an Ice Cold Beer, or might it be Ice on a lake? Hmmm…What could you do with 18″ of ice on a lake? You know where I’m going. You’ve been sitting on the couch all winter having withdrawals from racing…you... Read More

Motorcycle Drifting – Jorian Ponomareff

Screen shot 2011-11-12 at 10.00.12 AM

Jorian Ponomareff, decided to show us his drifting skills on his 600rr on what looks to be a pretty ridiculous drifting course. Not only is Ponomareff such a master of the motorcycle, he proves that he too is only human, when he crashes after he checks out a hot girl walking by. Crazy stunts on a motorcycle!!  Thanks to Dave Philip for the heads up on this clip!! Check out Dave’s... Read More

Just A Little Bit Outside

Screen shot 2011-06-25 at 10.20.50 AM

We were approaching the end of the second day of practice for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and I heard over my radio that the last car was on the course.  I could hear the “throatie” V8 powered car making its way up the course, getting closer and closer by the minute. When the race car was a turn of so from my location I raised my camera with anticipation... Read More

OK, so there won’t be any dirt next year.

Intro from Chris Naz. – It is such a pleasure to have Dave Philip starting to blog for us.  Dave – thanks for being part of the team.  Many have speculated that when the last 3 mile section of dirt disappears from Pikes Peak, there will be no Pikes Peak. I beg to differ as evidenced by the influx of new blood/rookies. While perusing the pits during Tech Inspection... Read More
